Let me start off by saying our waitresses set such a high bar in customer service. Other businesses need to take a course from them. When it comes to seasoning, they hit the spot from the red beans and rice to the greens, which all are cooked in smoked turkey. Make sure you order extra cornbread because it is fire. I must be honest the fried chicken was cooked too long and dry, but that is my only complaint.

Eaten here a few times and nothing has ever been even close to mediocre! They do an amazing job with seasoning, the staff have always been very friendly, and it definitely makes you feel like friends invited you over for a homemade dinner! One of the best greens I've had outside of a grandma's kitchen!

Their gumbo is some of the best I've had in years! The potato salad is really good, has a great mouth feel, and the greens are just as good!

I really love the home cook soul food and the owner is very personable, his staff is great with explaining the menu. The prices are reasonable and I love the lemonade 😋.

I ordered greens, Mac and cheese, cornbread, fried chicken and a slice of sweet potato pie for Thanksgiving because I'm by myself and didn't wanna cook. I just ate a little since I couldn't wait until tomorrow and it was GOOD. My toes CURLED. I've been looking for some good soul food in the area and here it is.
